Mamavation Monday: What Keeps You Motivated?

Life moves in a blur. Most days, I don't have time to blink, let alone take a solid moment to recognize the little things that make me smile. But today, I not only made the time. I took pictures to prove it. Like this one of our television playing the Gaiam Yoga for Kids DVD that Buttercup loves.

A cucumber, a lemon, and some tajin. A perfectly cool summer snack.

 

A bowl of berries.

 

Visiting grandmothers and the smiles she didn't have to pack in her suitcase.

A cup of Teavana Oolong Tea (Or five)

 

Pistachios (Can you eat just one?)

 

Freshly ground peanut and almond butters from the health food store

 

and imaginative toes.

 

These are just a few of the things that keep me happy, which in turn keeps me motivated to do as much as I can to encourage healthy behaviors and positive body image in my home. What motivates you?
